How to Request Assistance
All individuals requesting support through R&R Paws Forward must complete our Community Intake Form. This helps our team understand your household, your pets, and your circumstances.
If your request appears to meet our program guidelines, you will be invited to establish a secure client portal to continue the process.
Complete the Intake Form
Everyone requesting assistance must complete the Community Intake Form.
Please include information about all household pets, even if assistance is requested for only one animal.
Review & Determination
Our team reviews your intake to determine whether your circumstances may qualify for Paws Forward assistance.
Additional information or documentation may be requested.
Establish Your Portal
If your request meets our initial guidelines, you will receive instructions to establish your secure client portal.
You may then be asked to complete an additional assistance request with details about your pet.
Work Together on a Plan
Our volunteers will communicate with you through your portal to review available resources and coordinate an appropriate support plan.
Assistance is subject to final review, eligibility, and available resources.
Submission of an intake form does not guarantee assistance. Paws Forward is a resource-limited community support program and does not provide emergency veterinary services.
Your Client Portal
To keep the process organized, consistent, and confidential, R&R Paws Forward uses a secure client portal to manage assistance requests.
Individuals who meet our initial eligibility guidelines will be invited to establish a portal account.
Once established, this portal becomes the primary communication channel between you, Rubies & Rogues, and the volunteers coordinating your assistance.
What Is the Portal Used For?
- Submitting additional information about your pets and assistance needs
- Communicating directly with the Paws Forward team
- Responding to questions or requests for documentation
- Receiving updates regarding your assistance request
- Coordinating approved services and next steps
- Maintaining a consistent record of program communications
Once your portal is established, all communications regarding your application and assistance must take place through the client portal.
For privacy, accountability, and continuity, our volunteers cannot manage individual assistance requests through personal text messages, social media, or personal phone calls.
Don't have a portal yet? Please complete the Community Intake Form first. If your request meets our initial guidelines, our team will provide instructions for establishing your account.
