Community Events
Free Events for
Our Neighbors.
No cost, no catch, no judgment, just a community showing up for each other.
Our community events give local individuals and families a safe, welcoming place to get what they need, with dignity. Every event is free and open to the public.
See Upcoming Events Help Make Them HappenThese aren't strangers. They're our neighbors, our kids' classmates, and people who just need a little extra help to get through a hard season.
Behind every item collected is a real family in our own community. It might be a single parent working hard to stretch every dollar, a family starting over after losing their home, or a household that never expected hardship to hit all at once.
That's why every event is built around one idea: show up, meet the need, and treat every family with dignity.
Community Christmas Event
We help local families celebrate Christmas through two programs, both made possible by community sponsors and donors.
Wishlist Program
We match local families with community sponsors who shop from each child's Christmas wish list. Each year, about 150 families are matched with a sponsor.
Wishlist opens in November
Stop & Shop
Families who aren't matched with a sponsor can shop for their children from our new and gently used donated toys, free of charge, so every child has something to open on Christmas morning.
Opens after the Wishlist is full
Sponsor sign-ups open soon after the Wishlist. Program guidelines will be posted here when the Wishlist opens.
Our Events Throughout the Year
Most community events require sign-up, and some have limited spots.
Community Giveaway
Every family who attends shops completely free, with a safe space, friendly faces, and a chance to shop with dignity. Expect seasonal clothing, shoes, baby items, hygiene and cleaning supplies, and household basics.
Registration requiredBack-to-School Clothing Drive
A new school year shouldn't start with worry about what to wear. Each year, our Back-to-School clothing drive helps about 50 local families get their kids ready for the first day of school.
Registration requiredSensory-Friendly Trick or Treat
A calm, welcoming trick-or-treat designed for kids who do better with fewer crowds and less noise, so every child can enjoy Halloween.
Hygiene & Diaper Events
Toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, diapers, and wipes add up fast, and they can't be bought with food assistance. Our pop-ups bring these essentials directly to the community, so families can take what they need.
