Who Qualifies for Assistance?
R&R Community Support focuses on helping individuals and families facing an unexpected, short-term hardship that makes it hard to cover everyday essentials.
We review each request on its own, based on demonstrated need, available funding, donated resources, and volunteer capacity.
✓ Requests That May Qualify
- Groceries and food essentials
- Gas or transportation to get to work, school, or appointments
- Clothing, shoes, and seasonal items like coats and warm layers
- Hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and household basics
- Baby and child essentials
- Short-term help during a transition, such as a job loss, a move, displacement from your home, or a family emergency
- Other essential needs, considered one at a time
✕ Requests That Typically Do Not Qualify
- Ongoing or long-term support without a clear end date
- Direct cash payments, or rent, mortgage, or utility bills
- Non-essential or luxury items
- Requests outside our service area of Spring Hill and surrounding communities
- Emergencies that need immediate help. Please call 911
