Christmas Programs
Christmas Programs
for Families
Rubies & Rogues offers two Christmas programs to help local families: the Wishlist Program and the Christmas Stop & Shop.
Please read the rules below before registering, and make sure you have all the required documents ready before you begin.
Who Can Register Wishlist Program Stop & Shopπ£ How Registration Works
- Registration will be announced on our Facebook page. Follow us so you don't miss it.
- Registrations are accepted in order, based on COMPLETE submissions.
- Incomplete submissions (without the proper documents) will be denied.
Who Can Register?
To register, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be the legal guardian of each child you register. Children must be 18 or younger.
- Register each child only once. A child cannot be registered by more than one parent, guardian, or household.
-
Provide proof of guardianship. You must upload these documents when you register:
- For yourself: A photo ID, such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport.
- For each child: A birth certificate. If your baby was born recently, a hospital record is accepted.
- If your name is different from the name on your child's birth certificate: Legal guardianship or custody papers, or a DCS placement letter.
- Register for only one local Christmas assistance program. We compare registrations with other organizations in Maury and Williamson Counties.
Wishlist Program
- A sponsor is matched with your family and shops for your children.
- Families are accepted in the order we receive their completed registrations.
- Once 150 families have been accepted, registration closes. There is no waitlist.
- If you do not get a spot in the Wishlist Program, you may register for the Christmas Stop & Shop once it opens.
- You will receive a confirmation email within four business days of registering. If you do not get an email within four business days, you are not registered for the Wishlist Program. Be sure to check your spam folder.
- Gift pickup times will be emailed in early December.
- The legal guardian who registered must bring a photo ID to pick up the gifts.
- Families in the Wishlist Program cannot also attend the Christmas Stop & Shop.
Christmas Stop & Shop
The Christmas Stop & Shop is for families who:
- Did not get a spot in the Wishlist Program.
- Are not receiving Christmas assistance through another local angel tree or Christmas assistance program.
At the Stop & Shop, you choose gifts for your own children.
- Your shopping time is based on when you register. Families who register earlier receive earlier shopping times. This helps keep waiting times short on event nights.
- You will receive your shopping time by email. Bring the confirmation email, either printed or on your phone, and your photo ID. You must have both to shop.
- Only one parent or guardian per family may shop. The person shopping must be the legal guardian who registered the family.
- Each child receives 2β3 items. You may shop only for children you are the legal guardian of.
- Grandparents and other relatives cannot shop for a child unless they are the child's legal guardian and we approved their paperwork before the event.

Your Privacy
We only use your documents to make sure you are the child's guardian and that your family qualifies. Your documents are kept safe. Only Rubies & Rogues staff and volunteers who review registrations can see them. We do not sell or share your information. The only exception is checking with other groups in Maury and Williamson Counties to make sure families are not signed up in more than one place.
Important
Rubies & Rogues may remove a family from either program if the family gives false information or registers for more than one local Christmas assistance program.
